Higher Biology pupils visited Edinburgh Zoo to participate in the Primate Behaviour Workshop. They were able to study the behaviour of chimps, squirrel monkeys, and various other primates first hand and this allowed for considerable consolidation of work carried out in class as part of the new Higher.

The pupils were also given the opportunity to visit the Giant Pandas and to tour the rest of the zoo.  Despite the heavy rain, the pupils felt that it had been a very worthwhile experience.
