Viewforth’s senior pupils again displayed their presentation and team working skills in the finals of the YPI competition.
Having researched the work of local charities and the impact they have on the locality, the pupils presented their findings to a panel of judges who eventually decided that the £3000 cheque should be awarded to Kingdom Abuse Survivors Project – KASP.
The winning team members were Daisy Love, Ellie Robertson, Rosa Williamson and Rachel Johnstone – well done to them. But with all of this research done and new knowledge about what is available locally – everyone is a winner!
This is now the 5th year that Viewforth pupils have been involved in YPI. Some £15,000 has been donated to local good causes and in each year the valuable work done by a range of local charities has been showcased to the school’s pupils. Many thanks to the Wood Foundation for their sponsorship and to all of the volunteers who have made such an impact on our pupils.
