Active Body : Active Mind

At the start of each new year many of us resolve to develop a healthier lifestyle in the months ahead.  Some manage to do what they intend while others fall by the wayside.  During January and February we are planning to work to develop healthy bodies as well as healthy and active  minds!

We plan to run 8 Thursday night sessions to promote Wellbeing among female pupils and staff.  These will begin with 4 weeks of a variety of fitness formats, followed by 4 Spin classes and an introduction to the school’s excellent Fitness Room. No doubt other excitements and surprises will pop up along the way!

The first of our activities will see Nikii Fenton deliver Zumba® Fitness, (a latin inspired dance based workout), STRONG by Zumba® (a High Intensity Tempo Training) all linked to appropriate music.  There is a workout for everyone, take it at your own pace with support from our in-house  fully qualified instructor.  These sessions will start on THURSDAY 18th January (6:30 – 7:30 pm)  and will be made available FREE OF CHARGE to female pupils in the senior school  accompanied by a female relative!
